A lonesome pony ride is the anti-spokesman for the Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie racetrack in the latest television work from The Richards Group.
Scenes from the racetrack are interspliced with shots of the abandoned, coin-operated pony ride.
“If I have to listen to one more human talk about how great the Lone Star Park is . . . and how they’ve got live music and even real pony rides, well, I think I’m gonna toss my quarters,” the querulous kiddy ride declares.
One 30-second version of the commercial promoting the Lone Star Million will air through Memorial Day in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
