LOS ANGELES-The Hawaii State Department of Health is looking for a boost from ADWorks to help convince teenagers in the state to get immunized against hepatitis B.
The Honolulu agency was selected last month to handle the estimated $1 million advertising and public relations project, after a review.
Print ads began running last week, and TV and radio spots will break by the end of the month. An incentive program will also be introduced to encourage teens to get the required three shots to prevent contracting the disease.
“We’re happy with the way the agency pulled it all together so quickly,” said Patrick Johnston, a health department representative.
