Ogilvy & Mather in Houston, a latecomer to the four-month review of Randall’s Food Markets, last week walked away with the client’s estimated $10 million broadcast services account.
Ogilvy was chosen over finalist Rives Carlberg, also Houston, to succeed crosstown incumbent Fogarty Klein & Partners. Those pitching the account earlier were DDB Needham Dallas; Temerlin McClain, Irving, Texas; and Bates Southwest, BBDO and McCann-Erickson Southwest, all Houston.
The win is the first account acquisition for the Ogilvy outlet since co-managing directors Joe Kilgore and Angus Fraser were chosen to lead the Houston office last October.
