Top billing in 3M’s newest ad from Grey Advertising introducing the Post-It Pop-Up Notes dispenser is shared by a quintet of squirrels.
In the spot (shown here), a squirrel sneaks through an open window and steals the notes one by one. He writes down where he hid his food, then sticks the notes on a tree. A voiceover says, “Now you’ll always know where your Post-It Notes are so you won’t go ‘nuts’ looking for your nuts.”
The ad ends with a shot of the inside of a tree covered in notes bearing phrases such as “in stone wall,” “near stump” and “in ditch.”
