A month ago, Dallas shop Knape lost its name when its shingle switched to that of Kansas City-based parent Valentine Radford.
Last week, the agency lost its president and former namesake–Susan Knape–following her resignation after a brief leave of absence.
The shop is now in the hands of Knape’s partner, Ted Ingersoll, who co-founded the agency with her last year. Both led operating units of Larkin, Meeder & Schweidel (now LMS/Marc) in Dallas before breaking out on their own in the Valentine Radford-backed entity.
Ingersoll said the shop is moving forward with existing staff and clients, with no current plans to install a successor to Knape.
