It took nearly a year, but FCB Garfinkel has filled its top creative role in New York.

Eric Cosper, a veteran creative director who has worked at such agencies as BBDO,
Wieden + Kennedy and Publicis, becomes the office's chief creative officer under CEO Lee Garfinkel.

In an internal email, Garfinkel described Cosper as a "solutions-driven problem solver" who has "intelligence, strategic vision and drive."

The position had been vacant since last June, when Javier Campapiano left to become CCO for Saatchi & Saatchi Latin America.
