Andrew Benett has been quite busy in his first seven months as global president of Havas Worldwide.

He has hired a global chief marketing officer, expanded the roles of digital leaders, become CEO of the agency’s New York office and pitched (and won) new business. And now he has found a new chief creative officer for New York.

Darren Moran, an executive creative director at BBDO and former CCO of Draftfcb, starts next week. He’ll lead a department of 110 that Lee Garfinkel, CCO for global brands and New York chairman, has run since Al Kelly left in September 2011.
