Earlier this year, Samsung faced backlash for a “tone deaf” ad that depicted a woman running alone through the dark streets of London. The 1-minute video followed a series of high-profile murders in the U.K., with critics saying it didn’t reflect the dangers faced by women.

“Night Owls” by Ogilvy New York shows a young woman running at 2 a.m. with earbuds in through dark streets and alleys.

The U.K.’s Advertising Standards Authority has received 27 complaints about the TV and cinema ad, which is intended to promote Samsung’s smartwatch, smartphone and earbuds.
