Adweek is seeking creators to join its newly launched Creator Network, a program designed to provide special opportunities and benefits to those who collaborate with the Adweek team on content, events and more.
The 2022 Social Media Week event, which was acquired by Adweek in 2021 and returned in-person this year for the first time since 2019, concluded with the Creator Visionary Awards, a ceremony honoring the creatives announced in our May 2 magazine issue.
Amid appearances and acceptance speeches from creators—including Health and Wellness Creator of the Year Hannah Bronfman, Careers Creator of the Year DeAndre Brown, Cross-Platform Entertainer of the Year Remi Bader and Creator of the Year Steve Aoki—Adweek also announced the launch of the Creator Network.
The network, led by Adweek’s social media team, will be composed of marketing-, advertising- and media-centric creators who will work with Adweek to develop content around the publisher’s events, issues and key topics. In exchange, network members will be eligible to receive event passes, networking opportunities and merchandise. Opportunities will include both paid and in-kind partnership opportunities to collaborate with Adweek in the future.
The first three creators to join the network are Ashley Rutstein, known across social as Stuff About Advertising; accessibility advocate and creator Alexa Heinrich; and “the internet’s agent” Robyn DelMonte, also known as Girlbosstown.
Ideal creators will have a strong following that seeks advice, insights and inspiration around Adweek’s key areas of coverage, including advertising, marketing, media, the future of online communities, careers and creative inspiration.
