The Facebook Journalism Project took steps to fortify its efforts against health misinformation by partnering with the Digital Health Lab at global technology nonprofit Meedan.

Meedan’s Digital Health Lab will facilitate a series of virtual training sessions between its team of doctors, health experts and scientists and Facebook’s third-party fact-checking partners.

Those fact-checkers will also have access to Meedan’s Health Desk, which will provide them with timely answers to key public health questions to support their efforts.

Or they can submit questions by email or this online form and Meedan’s team of scientists will quickly respond.
