Under new ownership, Transit Television Network has returned to the Los Angeles market Monday (Aug. 31) to operate, program and sell advertising across the Los Angeles MTA’s 4,500 screens in 2,200 buses.
TTN, owned by Torstar Corp., was forced in February to shut down its L.A. transit network and others in Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando and Milawaukee when it filed for bankruptcy relief. Sun Valley, Calif.-based Tezo Systems, which provides technology to transit systems, acquired TTN in late May.
