Carat Taps Doug Ray to Head P&G Account

Carat has tapped Doug Ray to lead the agency’s Procter & Gamble account as executive vp, the media shop announced Monday (Oct. 27). He replaces Martin Cass, who was promoted last week to president of Carat U.S.

Ray has 16 years of experience in advertising, branding, media and planning working for several Fortune 500 companies and most recently serving senior vp, group director, communications planning for Carat. In his new position, Ray will also serve as head of communications plan for P & G, directing a team of communications specialists charged with the exploration of consumer receptivity.
