Tom Dempsey was named director of digital investment for media agency conglomerate GroupM North America.

Dempsey will be responsible for reviewing all business transactions with online suppliers across the GroupM agency network in order to establish pricing, terms, and business opportunities for GroupM clients.

GroupM is made up of media agencies MindShare, Mediaedge:cia, MediaCom and MAXUS. Dempsey was most recently managing partner, director of national broadcast at Mediaedge. He joined Mediaedge in 2004 and over the past four years has worked on accounts including Citibank, Colgate-Palmolive, Energizer, Macy’s, Cadbury Schweppes, Chanel, and TomTom.
