Sonic Cooks Up Sponsorship Deal with TBS

The drive-in restaurant chain Sonic has signed on as a returning sponsor of TBS’ original comedy series The Bill Engvall Show, which returns for its third season on July 18.

The deal includes integrations within select episodes of Engvall, as well as tagged tune-ins and on-air billboards. Banner ads touting Sonic’s “Chillers” beverage line are now live on the show’s dedicated microsite, and branded pre-roll will introduce online episodes following their on-air premieres.

Sonic is also promoting its association with the Engvall strip via “Sonic Radio,” the audio program that plays over the drive-in chain’s outdoor speakers.
