First J&R TV Push Touts Selection, Price

J&R Music and Computer World has launched its first TV campaign, touting the fact that it has been doing business “Since 1971” in five regional spots employing humorous vignettes that take place in the store.

The retailer is a New York institution, with a megastore that takes up an entire city block on Park Row in Lower Manhattan that has 300,000 square feet of space and holds some 40,000 products. The company also operates online and catalog units.
