Gotham has landed pan-European creative duties on two lines of products from Vivartia’s bakery division after a review, the Interpublic Group shop confirmed.

Sources identified the other finalist as independent ML Rogers, the incumbent. Annual media spending on the brands is estimated at more than $15 million.

The products are 7 Days croissants and Bake Rolls. The Greece-based client was seeking television and print advertising. Roth Associates in New York helped manage the search.

Gotham’s first work is expected in the first quarter of 2010, according to agency CEO Peter McGuinness.
