Popcorn and Pitted Olives: The Heights of Human Innovation

VitaminWater video marks moments that made life better

"Life of a Man,” evidently the brainstorm of designer Pedro Hefs at Brazilian filmmaking shop Coletivo Centro, is a kaleidoscopic journey of color and weird narration, explaining how small tweaks of good things make them even better. The video turns out to be a VitaminWater ad, so I doubt you need me to tell you what the spot is implying about the product. It could stand to be shorter, but the illustrations and color palette have a certain early-MTV charm to them. They need to find a narrator whose goofiness doesn't clash with the visuals, though. How about Jello Biafra? At least his silly voice is genuine.
