Noodly appendage finds home in Baltimore

Noodly The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, everyone’s favorite spoof religion, is getting some free advertising thanks to Jacob Corbin-Beal, a Baltimore resident. Corbin-Beal bought a house with a billboard attached and didn’t know what to do with it. A recent convert to the pasta deity, he decided to advertise his belief in having all religions recognized in Kansas educational programs (not just intelligent design). And he pulled out all the stops for the ad, using a sump-pump hose, saucer sleds and a pair of Wiffle balls for eyes. “I was really a little bit worried that I’d get a lot of negative reaction,” he says. “I received practically none. That’s kind of half the beauty of it.”
