Over the weekend, the company put up a mysterious new Web site, OrigenXbox360.com, which nerdy gamers in darkened rooms worldwide are now scrambling to decipher, often with hilarious results. The site shows a tree and a bunny, along with a faint but readable numerical countdown that will reach zero at noon EST on Sept. 27. What kind of cataclysmic event is Microsoft planning for that day? Who knows.
