Lottery ads know you’ll squander the money

What kind of mega-millionaire would you be? Colle+McVoy and the Minnesota Lottery pose the question in three new ads. For me, harems and solid-gold tracksuits spring to mind, as they usually do at some point during the day. But neither appear here. One ad shows a "little-changed" couch potato, who's added a butler and maid and whose bulldog eats hunks of meat off a silver tray. In another, a guy poses for endless opulent portraits, though he probably visits the harem between sittings. The third spot presents an older lady traveling the world in a private jet tricked out like her living room. Note to Granny: You can afford new wallpaper now. So, what kind of mega-millionaire would you be? An unlikely one. The odds of winning the jackpot prize are 1 in 175 million.
