In the New York Post this morning, Keith Kelly reports on the upcoming launch of Shock, a new magazine from Hachette Filipacchi Media. Shock will apparently cater to readers whose first viewing of Faces of Death was a major milestone in their adolescence. It’ll focus on weird and disturbing photos—a bloody river after a human attack on dolphins, a thumb jabbed into an eye during a wrestling match, a 5-year-old girl being taken hostage in China with a machete at her throat, etc.
