The fake-music-video genre gets perfected

“We can prank call John Edwards and tell him he’s gay.” That’s just one salient line from “Perfected: The Ann Coulter Song” (above), the latest YouTube music video from barelypolitical, the brains behind the recent Obama Girl craze. Coulter, of course, topped her attacks on Edwards with an appearance on Donny Deutsch’s CNBC show The Big Idea in which she talked about the need for Jews to be “perfected.” The new music clip has 300,000-plus views so far, but it’s bound to be outstripped by “The Colbert Song.”
