Univision Sees Big CPM and Volume Gains in First Upfront Under New Ownership

Ad sales chief Donna Speciale expands number of marketers

During Univision’s “Grow With Us”-themed upfront presentation last month, the company invited marketers along for the ride during its transformative year, which includes new owners, new leadership, a fledgling streaming service and an upcoming merger.

And as Univision becomes the latest media company to complete its upfront talks, the company did indeed convince several new marketers to spend part of their ad budgets with new ad sales chief Donna Speciale.

The company secured double-digit CPM (cost per thousand viewers reached) and volume increases in this upfront, according to a source familiar with negotiations.
