Like most TV shows, season four of Hulu’s award-winning dystopian drama The Handmaid’s Tale underwent changes caused by the pandemic. But according to director, producer, and star Elisabeth Moss, the transition wasn’t nearly as tough as one would assume.

“It wasn’t as challenging as you would think,” Moss tells Adweek’s Lisa Granatstein during a one-on-one session for the first day of the Convergent TV Summit. “I think we were so grateful to be back at work and so grateful to be able to make the show at a time when so many people weren’t able to work.
