Netflix is making a CMO change: Marian Lee has been elevated to the role, replacing Bozoma Saint John.

Top line

Saint John first joined the streamer in 2020, after holding executive roles at Uber and Apple. Lee arrived at Netflix in July 2021 in the role of vp of marketing in the U.S. and Canada.

Between the lines

Lee has held roles with fashion and music brands, including eight years at Spotify as well as positions at Condé Nast and J.Crew.

“Marian is a strategic marketer with deep experience not just in entertainment but also more broadly having worked in fashion and media brands,” Ted Sarandos, co-CEO and chief content officer, said in a statement.
