Banking and brokerage firm Charles Schwab will continue working with Universal McCann (UM) as U.S. media agency of record, the company confirmed today.

The decision came after a review that began in April when the company issued an RFI and invited other parties to pitch. At the time, a spokesperson said, “as is a best practice in our industry, we periodically take the opportunity to evaluate our agency portfolio.”

“After recently completing a thorough review to ensure that we are making the most effective use of our marketing resources, Schwab decided to retain UM as our media agency of record,” a company representative wrote today.
