Cigna, a Bloomfield, Conn.-based managed healthcare and insurance company, has consolidated the majority of its advertising account across services with IPG which will be responsible for services including creative; data and analytics; and media buying and planning, effective July 1. Cigna spent around $180 million on media globally last year, approximately $170 million of which was in North America, according to global data consultancy COMvergence.
