LOS ANGELES — Three shops are contending for Hershey Foods Corp.’s $175-million media buying consolidation review, sources said.

Pitching the Hershey, Penn.-based advertiser’s business are the two incumbents, WPP Group’s MindShare and Omnicom’s OMD, both New York; and Interpublic Group of Cos.’ Initiative Media North America, New York. The client, which launched the review two months ago [Adweek, Feb. 11] is expected to make a decision by the end of the month.
