Hogs for hunger

Leaders from Glossier, Shopify, Mastercard and more will take the stage at Brandweek to share what strategies set them apart and how they incorporate the most valued emerging trends. Register to join us this September 23–26 in Phoenix, Arizona.

For Devine & Pearson, charity begins on the highway.
Working on a pro-bono basis, the Quincy, Mass., shop has crafted “Hospitality Hogs,” literally a pledge drive on motorcycles, to support Foodchain, a Kansas City, Mo.-based network of hunger-relief programs that “rescue” surplus food from restaurants and grocery stores.
More than 30 food industry executives–including McDonald’s vice president Bill Hallett and Edlund Co. vice president of global sales Peter Nordell–plan to ride thousands of miles on motorcycles next month to raise more than $25,000 for Foodchain.
