Speaking of Starbucks (well, we were about five posts down), the purveyor of overpriced coffee has launched an art exhibition called Avante-Grande, featuring works by Starbucks employees, at the Chelsea Art Museum in New York. In this story in yesterday’s New York Daily News, the company’s northeast marketing director says, “Customers are familiar with how creative the people who serve them can be.” (Wait, do you really want the people who serve you coffee to be creative about it? Personally, I’m just there for the caffeine.)
