Some people just don’t appreciate a little unexpected jolt of polygamy

It sounded like a fun idea at the time: HBO playfully inserting posed “wedding photos” from Big Love into users’ photo albums on Webshots.com. But it turns out some people don’t actually want surprising images of polygamy showing up in their personal photo albums. “Would like to say I am offended,” one user writes in a comment posted to the Webshots blog. “I would have thought it a mistake if it happened with one album, but all of them? … I am uncomfortable inviting anyone to view an album of photos that took considerable care and effort on my part to assemble.”
