A TV commercial for Valtrex did wonders for Brad Anderson, who suffered the “itching, burning shame” of genital herpes. “Oh, I don’t take the drug,” he tells The Spectrum, the student newspaper at the University of Buffalo. “But the character actors in that commercial taught me to not be embarrassed.
