A while ago we pointed you to Electronic Gaming Monthly‘s compendium of the worst print ads that it has ever published. They weren’t just bad—terrible really. But you can’t take the bad without the good—just ask Mrs. Garrett. Now comes gameinformer.com, a video game Web site, with the "Most Memorable Television Commercial Moments" in video gaming. While it’s not as in-depth as the list of horrific print ads (and actually includes a few commercials that were good and memorable), it did dredge up "this 2003 Nintendo 64 spot for "Battle Tanx." In it, a cute teddy bear that looks like it escaped from Snuggle’s copyright lawyers is chased around by a missile shooting tank and is lit on fire. (Note visual.) And really, what’s more memorable than that?
