Old Navy has released another original song, “Layer Player,” that it hopes will soon infect your brain and iPhone. It’s about on par with the saccharine “Super C-U-T-E” we were served up last month, but what’s really impressive this time around are the dancer’s moves, which at first blush almost look as computer-generated as her wardrobe changes. This is because she’s no mere mortal. Tyne Stecklein was one of 10 backup dancers chosen by Michael Jackson from a pool of 5,000 hopefuls for his would-be final tour, “This Is It,” which was canceled following his death in June 2009.
