According to this Brazilian ad for Skol 360 beer, ordinary brews have the unfortunate habit of causing Violet Beauregarde levels of bloat in drinkers. Luckily, Skol has an ingredient that counters this "blowfish effect," though they don't explain what causes it or how their brand staves it off. Still, if it keeps more innocent people at parties from floating up into orbit, I guess it's a good thing. Now, if they can alter the formula to make only the angry drunks drift away, then they'll have a revolutionary product on their hands.
