With less than a week until the first NewFronts presentation are slated to kick-off, the Interactive Advertising Bureau has put out its final schedule.
The week of virtual events, which will be hosted by former HQ Trivia host Scott Rogowsky and include a combination of live and prerecorded sessions, will begin at a little after 12 p.m. ET from Monday through Friday, with presentations running until about 4 p.m. ET. The event will wrap Friday after 2 p.m. ET.
Rogowsky will kick off each day with a live pre- and post-show with a different cohost each day. TV[R]EV co-founder and lead analyst Alan Wolk will host on Monday, Bon Appétit Test Kitchen host Claire Saffitz will host on Tuesday, Marketplace Tech host and senior editor Molly Wood will host on Wednesday, and Cheddar business anchor Nora Ali will host on Thursday.
Most of the presenters, including first-timers like Roku, Snap and TikTok, were already previously announced. There are a few new programs on the schedule, including a diversity town hall that will kick off at 3:50 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
This year’s NewFronts were upended considerably with the Covid-19 pandemic, which meant the event went entirely virtual before being postponed entirely for two months. About half of the shows’ original presenters dropped out, saying they would focus instead on one-on-one presentations, but a number of new presenters have signed on to present both full-fledged presentations and shorter insights sessions.
There are 12 full-length presentations, which will run about 40 minutes each, and 27 insights sessions, roundtable discussions and other programming from the IAB and a number of presenting partners. The 2020 NewFronts has more than 8,500 preregistered attendees so far, the IAB said today, more than double the 4,000 registrants the event had as of June 1.
The full schedule, all in ET, is below, with full-length presentations in bold. Other presentations range from insights sessions to roundtable discussions from a range of presenters. The timing of the events is not exact since some events will be conducted live and may run slightly ahead of or behind schedule.
