Scarborough Research Names Drouillard President

Scarborough Research has reached out to one of its parents—The Nielsen Co.—to fill a big gap in its own C-suite, the company confirmed today.

Scarborough, which measures consumer behavioral trends, has named Tom Drouillard as president. Drouillard joins the company from Nielsen Online, where he had been president since 2008. He replaces Bob Cohen, who had been on medical leave since November 2009. Last month, Scarborough said Cohen would not be returning to the firm.

Scarborough evp Gregg Lindner had been overseeing day-to-day operations of the company since Cohen went on leave a year ago. Linder is leaving the company for Scarborough’s other parent, Arbitron, where he will serve as evp and chief research officer.

Both Drouillard and Lindner will assume their new roles in January 2011.

Prior to his stint as president of Nielsen Online, Drouillard held executive positions at a number of marketing firms, including Claritas, PERQ/HCI, Interactive Market Systems and SRDS.
