Entrepreneur Network Joins NewFronts Lineup, Showcasing a Wide Variety of Content

'It's not just about companies anymore, it's about people'

Entrepreneur Media has grown beyond its traditional coverage of business.

“It’s not just about companies anymore,” said Bill Shaw, the CRO of Entrepreneur Media. “It’s about the people.”

Last year, the company worked with YouTube to create a multichannel network, called Entrepreneur Network. This year, the team will be showing off a bit of what they’ve been up to, and what they hope to continue tackling, by joining the IAB’s Digital Content NewFronts this May in New York.

“We’ve recently been focusing a lot on the culture of entrepreneurism,” said Shaw. “That can include people who solve problems, or who use their jobs to give inspiration, or who use their tools to make big things happen for others.”

“Our content on the Entrepreneur Network covers all kinds of topics,” he said.

There’s a series by Gerard Adams, the co-founder of Elite Daily, titled “Leaders Create Leaders,” that follows Adams as he travels to “underprivileged areas to help people turn kids into leaders, while featuring other celebrities in a really dynamic way.”

There’s also a project with Al Roker’s production company to create a live, interactive program that stars Emmy-award winning talk show host Mario Armstrong. Armstrong will talk to entrepreneurs and influencers alike but always with his signature sense of enthusiasm and joy.

“After you watch him, or talk to him, you honestly feel so motivated, like you could just go run a marathon,” Shaw gushed.

EM’s NewFronts presentation, which will be on May 9, will focus on the “celebration of entrepreneurism, of creating things.”

“We’re not just ‘Entrepreneur Media’ as you’ve known us,” continued Shaw. “You’ll see a variety of content and energy, just like we’ve shown through the Entrepreneur Network already.”

By taking a more holistic look at successful companies, both big and small, Entrepreneur Network has found a way to highlight the people behind those businesses.

“The people that make these things happen are so motivating and so inspirational on their own, that this platform is a great fit for them,” said Shaw.
