Snapchat allows users to turn on two-factor authentication to add extra security to their accounts. When this feature is turned on, users will need to enter a code they receive through a text message, or one generated by an authentication application (such as Google Authenticator), whenever they login to their Snapchat account.

Here’s how to turn on two-factor authentication from within the Snapchat mobile app.
