As reported in Tuesday’s New York Post, a thief was caught on surveillance cameras earlier this year stealing furniture from the lobby of a New York apartment building. In fact, he was caught looking directly into the camera on the way out with one of the chairs he made off with. One resident took the tape and posted it on YouTube with a couple of nice production touches, including the musical theme to The Pink Panther, and several silent-movie type screen cards commenting on the action.
