Smashing Pumpkins sue label over Pepsi ad


Smashing Pumpkins are suing Virgin Records for using the band’s name and music in a "Pepsi Stuff" promotion with Amazon.com. The group claims its “artistic integrity” is at stake, but the whole thing is generating more press than their last five albums combined, so the lawsuit’s probably well worth the price of filing.
