A federal judge said Monday that Jack in the Box can continue to poke fun at Carl’s Jr. and its Angus/anus burgers, saying there isn’t enough evidence that Carl’s Jr.’s business is being harmed by the ads. Andrew F. Puzder, CEO of Carl’s Jr. parent CKE Restaurants, continues to act like the biggest bum in this scuffle, telling reporters that he’ll try to find quantifiable evidence of a sales drop—and failing that, “we’ll argue it out in trial.”
