As ironic Web sites go, Save Martha was a pretty good one. Yes, they sold T-shirts, aprons, mugs, etc. But it was nicely designed, funny and exhaustive in its Martha Stewartness. On the flip side, we have Free Katie, a Web site supposedly devoted to rescuing Katie Holmes from Tom Cruise and Scientology. “McLaughlin Cameron Designs invites you to join the movement to liberate Katie, a young, gifted, actress held captive by forces we may never understand,” the site says.
