Ad likened to '80s music video

Work That Matters likens Emma Watson's new Lancôme spot to a bad '80s music video, and provides more than a few examples of the latter to back up that claim. That's pretty merciless. The spot is lame, sure, but not Journey lame. The former Hermione Granger joins Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz in the Lancôme spokesperson club, and probably also in the past-film-roles-mentioned-with-every-new-project club, too. The poor girl. For her sake, if Lancôme is going to keep this series going, they should steal less from Bonnie Tyler and more from Peter Gabriel.
