Doritos wants you to vote for a CGM spot

So now Doritos is asking consumers to vote for the consumer-generated spot that it will air on the Super Bowl. (Unlike with the NFL contest, the five commercials have actually been shot, and it actually looks like Doritos has made a commitment to airing one of them.) At any rate, not a bad crop of commercials—the one pictured here obviously features a lot of duct tape, and yes, that is a guy duct-taped to the door in the background. One quibble: the contest is being conducted in partnership with Yahoo!, and once you’ve watched the commercials you actually have to log in to Yahoo! to cast your vote, which, of course, implies that you have a Yahoo! ID in the first place. Anyway, voting ends Jan. 19.
