Anti-coal group rolls out its poster child

Cute babies in ads are a dime a dozen. Cute babies who are somehow in imminent danger of being contaminated by the coal industry are less common, which is why this ad for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Waterkeeper Alliance will get some attention. is a Web site the group has established to rebut the idea that coal can ever by used cleanly. The appeal of campaigns like this, incidentally, helps explain why talk of reducing U.S. dependence on foreign oil is likely to remain just talk.
