After seven years of relative stability, the late-night TV landscape is about to undergo a significant change.

James Corden will exit The Late Late Show next spring, after eight years as host of the CBS late-night program.

Corden, whose contract was up this summer, has extended his deal until next spring, after which he will leave the show. He talked about the exit in tonight’s Late Late Show monologue.
