The 2017-18 TV season is now one month old, and while broadcast viewing is down double-digits across the 18-49 demo, a handful of new shows have already managed to stand out from the pack. But along with fall’s breakout freshman hits, several other new series already seemed destined for cancellation (though delayed-viewing numbers could change their fortunes).
