CBS Finishes Upfront With 9-10% Gains

The broadcast network upfront market was close to a wrap Tuesday evening with CBS completing its effort and ABC and NBC near completion.
 
CBS issued a statement confirming that the network has completed its upfront commercial sales. The statement didn’t address pricing, but sources familiar with the situation said the network achieved market-leading increases of between 9-10 percent higher than rates a year ago
 
Earlier in the year CBS CEO Les Moonves (pictured) said the network would achieve double-digit gains, although last week as the market opened he said he was “very pleased with the marketplace.”
