A four-part documentary series on the case of John Wayne Bobbitt and Lorena Bobbitt is coming to Amazon Prime with Jordan Peele as the executive producer, the company announced today.

The series, called Lorena, will take another look at what happened 25 years after the case, in which she cut off her husband’s genitalia after Bobbitt said he raped her.

“When we hear the name ‘Bobbitt,’ we think of one of the most sensational incidents to ever be catapulted into a full-blown media spectacle.
